BASEMENT BATHROOM BUILD-OUT

I found Ken on a Nextdoor recommendation and I am so pleased I did. Ken was able to come in and make recommendations for finishing the bath room space in my basement that included a cement/plumbing change because Richmond Homes put the lines where ever they wanted and poured the cement.
My bathroom is beautiful. The crews that came in were all very nice, professional and did great work. They even talked to the dogs that watched them from kennels while they worked.
Ken was always in contact with me throughout the job. The quote was very reasonable and came in as quoted.
I would recommend Ken for any build/remodel job. I do not think you would find someone nicer to work with or as committed to making sure your home is exactly what you wanted.

We have been Grein’s customer since 1988.
He built a beautiful custom home for us that we moved into in 1989. We loved the beautiful work that was done on-time and on-budget.
By 2016, we now lived in a 1910 farm house and had been wanting to add onto for some time, but, had heard too many horror stories about other’s projects coming in late, over budget or abandoned.
We managed to reconnect with Ken. He provides realistic pricing that will not have anticipated surprises. With an old house there are bound to be unanticipated surprises, but, Ken is very honest and explains the process. We actually had some of the same subcontractors who worked on our original home in the 80s! That speaks volumes!
We are finished with our new addition and enjoying the beautiful work and the lasting relationship.
Other contractors may come in with lower initial numbers, but, when it is all said and done, Ken gives you the realistic price at the beginning and we were able to enjoy peace of mind that we would be within budget (unless we chose to change something from the original).
Ken was on-sight overseeing the project almost every day and even running for materials when needed to keep things rolling smoothly.
We appreciate the long relationship and can rest assured that he will be here in the future if any new needs arise.

MASTER BATHROOM REMODEL

It was a great experience working with Ken to completely remodel our master bathroom. We went from a traditional five piece master bathroom (with separate shower and tub), to a contemporary design that got rid of the bathtub to make room for a larger walk-in shower concept. To start, the ending quality was fantastic. The craftsmanship and attention to detail was top notch, especially the tiling work. Furthermore, it was a very smooth process. It’s important to find someone you can easily work with for a project like this, as there are many moving pieces. Ken was fantastic at communicating and setting expectations throughout the project. He was also great at sticking to a well-coordinated timeline. In fact, the project finished ahead of schedule, which was very much appreciated. I would definitely work with Ken on future projects, as I appreciated his effort in building a working relationship while also getting the project done timely and with great quality.

REMODEL OUR NEW HOUSE

Our new house came incomplete for us. We had no choice in the features as the home was already specified. We had some ideas and we made the easy decision to hire Ken Grein for our projects. Ken was always on time and had clear communication with the process. We just smiled as his approach had not changed since the 1st project we used him on at our other house years ago. Even with a new house there are some issues that arise. We all worked thru them with ideas and workmanship for a wonderful outcome. Now when you enter our new home the craftsmanship just pops. DETACHED MUSIC STUDIO & WOOD SHOP

We have wanted for years to create spaces for our family band to rehearse, and for our boys to have their wood shop. The Grein family has built our home (2002), and finished our basement (2012), and have now completed our third addition to the property. We did check out other builders for this particular project, and ended up choosing Ken again for the job – being reminded once again why other options really aren’t an option for us. Having finished the job on budget and on time, we are again reminded why we chose him. His integrity and character are of the highest degree, and clearly distinguish him from others. He also sets himself apart in communicating regularly, providing regular updates, presenting any issues that arise, or presenting questions that need to be addressed. Once again, we were very happy with Ken Grein’s leadership on our project, and with the end results. No regrets! We are truly blessed by His work and leadership.

BEDROOM / BATHROOM REMODEL

My wife and I decided to remodel our master bedroom and bathroom. We wanted a trust worthy contractor that has a history of quality work and the highest regard to their customers needs and wants. We had a few companies give us quotes on our project. After talking to each contractor and comparing the quotes we decided to use Ken and his team. We felt more comfortable with Ken’s team. Everybody from the drywaller, plumber, electrician, tiler and the finish worker were all respectful of our house and completed amazing work. We will always use Grein Custom Homes and will refer them to anybody that needs a great contractor.
